Welcome to Nurture Birth Preparation Coaching, I provide comprehensive support to help you navigate the exciting journey of parenthood with confidence. My classes are designed to equip you with essential skills and knowledge for both childbirth and newborn care.


The Fourth Trimester
Our face-to-face class offers an in-depth look at everyday newborn care, ensuring you feel prepared and empowered as a new parent:
The fourth trimester is not just the first few days or weeks after having a baby.
Evidence shows that your body and mind are evolving and changing for at least 4 months after giving birth.
I believe that this period in time is unique to you and your baby. Healing and transformation into motherhood takes years not days or weeks.
It is only when we learn to look after ourselves and nurture our mind and body that we can be the parents we long to be.
Although my class has a core practical aspect I am based in a yoga studio which gives me the opportunity to work with you as pregnant couples in a different way than traditional classes.
Each class is bespoke to suit the needs of those attending. From skin to skin to Postnatal exercise and relaxation techniques and Breathwork.
Core Content.
- Everyday Care of Newborn Baby: Learn essential daily routines to keep your baby healthy and comfortable.
- Bonding: Discover techniques to build a strong emotional connection with your baby from the very beginning.
- Topping and Tailing: Master the gentle art of cleaning your baby’s face and body to keep them fresh and clean.
- Bathing: Receive practical advice on how to bathe your newborn safely, including tips on temperature and products.
- Holding Your Baby Safely: Understand proper methods for holding and supporting your baby to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Feeding Your Baby: Antenatal hand expression, responsive feeding, and what to expect in the first few weeks.
- Changing Your Baby: Practice nappy changing and cord care.
- Newborn Baby Sleep: How babies sleep, brain development and what is normal.
- Self-Care and Postnatal Recovery:
- You are important and your baby needs you to be healthy and present. Learn what to expect in the first week including physical recovery and emotional well-being.
- Body and mind changes in the fourth trimester.
- Working together as new parents.
